Chef Owners of La Boca LLC, Liz & Steven live and breathe good food. When they are not creating original, inspiring meals in their restaurant and specialty market, they are traveling. Their latest passion is visiting their favorite parts of the world and getting to know the growers, makers and producers there. The new venture of La Boca Travel brings fellow travelers along to discover some of their best finds, and taste the culinary results of Liz & Steven's inspiration. 

Ciara O'Brien is proprietor and founder of Barnahown B&B. After 20 years in the corporate world, Ciara took on a new challenge. She loves to hike (in luxury!) and wants to help visitors enjoy the hidden gems of Mitchelstown & The Galtees/Ballyhoura. She also happens to be Liz's cousin, and her co-planner for this exciting trip. 

Norma Kelly is the owner of Praline, in Mitchelstown, County Cork. A haven of delicious pastry, specialty cakes, desserts and exceptional chocolate confections - Praline is the perfect spot for a pick-me up on our adventure.

The English Market of Cork City is a delight for the senses, and we'll make the trek through with hunger in our minds and bellies. Gathering dinner ingredients along the way, we'll move through the market to get a good look at what local merchants have to offer. 

The Rock of Cashel is set on a dramatic outcrop of limestone in the Golden Vale. Iconic in its historic significance, The Rock of Cashel possesses the most impressive cluster of medieval buildings in Ireland. Tour the home of the internationally recognized, Cashel Blue Cheese and meet the makers. This family farm is steeped in history and tradition. 

This charming coastal town is known for the colorful facades of its delightful shops, restaurants and storefronts. Join us for a delicious lunch, or follow your own path for this discovery day in picturesque Kinsale. 

We'll visit the home of the renowned cookery school, organic farm, shop and gardens and then dine at Ballymaloe House for an elegant lunch.
